Awesome episode! So glad you mentioned Robert Anton Wilson; he’s one of my all-time favourite writers and his books undoubtedly changed my life. Plus, he doesn’t get mentioned anywhere near enough, especially considering how much influence he has obviously had on modern, western, culture. Incidentally, he wrote all his letters to Timothy Leary in prison on Illuminati headed paper – too fucking cool! Operation Mindfuck is actually part of the plot of his co-authored novel ‘Illuminatus! Trilogy’, so my mind was blown when I read an article recently about Jesse’s book talking about the real-life OM (maybe add it to the list of links above):

I’m certain that one day a critical-mass of RAW readers will develop and suddenly he will be a whole lot more known. I certainly hear more about him these days than I did 10 years ago when I first started hanging out on the internet, and loads more than when I first started reading his books before there was any internet to speak of. I hope so at least, because he is funny as fuck, spot on almost all the time, and I desperately need people I can chat to about that kind of thing….
